9-11 the Conspiracy

 

I watched a 'documentary' last night called 911 in plane site. It was about the 911 conspiracy. What? You haven't heard about the conspiracy? Well let me briefly explain it to you, it's simply really...

The 'evil' government wanted to pass the patriot act, so instead of doing like they mostly do and linking it to bills they know will pass they... hijacked four planes and either crashed them into the ocean or landed them at military bases and killed the passengers, at the same time they crashed a refueling plane (a 757) into one of the towers, then waited long enough for EVERY camera in NYC to be focused on the towers to crash a second 757 into the other tower then used explosives that would have taken months to set up, to collapse the two towers, then shot a missle or crashed a military fighter jet into the pentagon. and that was how they got the patriot act to pass. Can't wait to see the school house rock for that one! so you see, we were all deceived, how could we have been so blind?

OK, now that you know the conspiracy, let's take a closer look. the film starts by stating that if any of what they show could be true then it all could, and I sort of agree with that, everything that happened that day is linked, if it was the government that attacked the pentagon, then most likely, it was them that attacked the trade centers. The problem with the conspiracy theorists is that they use the most elaborate explanations for things that can be really simple. They begin with the Pentagon so we'll start there. A 757 fully loaded with fuel slammed into wedge one. They say that it wasn't a 757, that it was either a missle or a jet fighter. They say this because they say that the hole in the wall of the Pentagon was to small and that there wasn't any debris. The plane hit at ~400mph, most of the plane went into the building, true the wings probrably snapped off and their enertia carried them inside also, which accounts for the smaller hole. you have to remember that a plane is basicly just a tube with the outside being thin aluminum, the 757 hit a highly reinforced think wall, it was crushed like a coke can, if you removed the supports, engines, electronics, and left just the outer shell, it probrably wouldn't have even made a hole. It was the heavyer parts that broke through. The film shows the Pentagon just after the crash and talk about how small the hole is, but they don't really show it, they focus more on the right side of the damage and even mention that the windows didn't break near the hole. In my oppinion, the hole is obsured by the smoke, and so what that the windows didn't break, the windows close to the planes in the WTC didn't break either! They also show after the collapse and how the part of the building that didn't collase was almost undamaged, even an open book was not burned. well the Pentagon is built like several buildings and that was an expansion joint, before the wall collapsed that part hadn't been effected yet and after the collapse there was no flames near, I don't even know why they even brought that up! The no debris argument is false too, in photos you can see a large pile of debris, but they crop them out in the film, why is that? They also insinuate that the black boxes were not found, hmm, they were found on 9/14. T hen there are the eyewitness accounts they use, I would like to point out that police consider eyewitness account to be unreliable. One said that he saw what looked like a missle...but with wings (a plane?). One said it sounded like a missle (just how many missles has he heard?). Yet another siad it was a small jet. OK then, what did they see and hear? Well what would a low flying 757 sound like? Maybe a missle? The Pentagon is a large building, a 757 headed for it would seem small, don't beleive it? just look at a photo of the VAB (vehicle assembly building) at Kennedy Space center and then look at things near it (cars, buses,people), it's size is very deceptive, same with the Pentagon. And finally, the cameras. They wonder why only one camera caught the crash, hmm again only one camera caught the first plane hitting the tower! Then they claim that other camera that may have caught the crash were removed by the FBI, which is probrably right, they would need them for the investagation, but did they contain anything? they say they did and that employees from a hotel watched one, but they showed none of these people.

Well that was their (very poor) case for the Pentagon. let's check out the towers. The biggest thing here thier claim that the planes were Military planes, they say that they are the miliary 757 refueling jets. Why do they think this, well they play a clip from one of the newscasts of that day and the reporter says that the plane had a blue logo on the tail and that it wasn't a civilian airline becuase he didn't see any windows. They also show a woman just after the second plane hit and she was screaming 'that's not an american airline' several times. These are not the most reliable sources to base a case on. first off, things were hectic that day, there were a lot of rumors and misinformation, I saw the second plane hit, and I thought (and said out loud) that it was a large airliner. Another thing, the woman was screaming just after the second plane hit, the first plane was thought to be an accident till then, I think she wasn't saying that it wasn't an american airlines airplane, I think she meant that it was a foreign countries airplane, I don't think at the time it was clear what companies planes were missing. I don't think that they made a very good case there, let's continue. They then focus on the planes as they hit the towers. the footage is grainy and hard to really make anything out of, but you do see that as the plane hits, there is a flash like a small explosion. what is it? I don't know but they claim that it is something fired from the plane. WTF? Why would this be necessary, you are about to hit the building with a much larger object, why would you need to fire at it? It is also on the footage of the first plane hitting the towers, isn't the avionics/radar equipment in the front cone on planes? They also focus on something they say is attached to the plane, something large enough that the plane would have had to take off from a military base (hmm, isn't that where military planes usually take off from?), but to me it looks like the shadow of the engine, looking at the shadows being cast from the sun, that looks like that is what it really is. Then the focus on the back tail section and point out an object there (I thought the film was to grainy to see shit) then show a photo of the military 757 refueler (all gray with black lettering, no blue logo) and the place where the refueling boom comes out of, it was close to what they pointed out on the footage, too hard to see really. By the way, in the footage you can't see the windows because of the angle of the planes.

Now we come to the collapse of the towers, here is the one thing that they showed that I didn't have an explaination for, it's not that there isn't one, it's more that they didn't give much information on it, they showed it, questioned what it could be and went on. Just before the towers fell you see a cloud of smoke riseing up, the thing is, it wasn't from the towers, it looked to be just north of the towers. I don't really remember the sequence of events that day, did one of the other WTC buildings collapse first or maybe partially? that would accout for it, but as I said, they didn't focus much on it, and that day, the attention was mostly on the towers. Then they go on to say that eyewitnesses claimed there were explosions and then show interviews from that day with people who say it SOUNDED like explosions going off, sounding like and actual explosions are two different things, they were describing the sounds, just like when no shirt guy on the news says the tornado that took his trailer sounded 'like a frieght train' doesn't mean that there was a frieght train in the tornado. that was just plain stupid.

Ok well that's what they think really happened on 9-11. my turn to ask questions. What happened to the four planes and their passengers, in the film he states plainly that he doesn't know... but looking at theories on the web they range from crashing them in the ocean, (um, why not just use them to crash in the towers? would have saved two military planes!) to landing at a military base and killing or brainwashing. (brainwashing isn't feasable, they would also need new faces new fingerprints, etc...) But then, most of the sites say that this isn't a relevent question! How can this be kept secret, I know that the military keeps secrets, but we are talking about something that if real would be too horrible for most people to hide. and there would have had to be a lot of people involved in such an elaborate plan, setting explosives in the towers alone would take months and several dozen people and they would have to do it all without being seen, the pilots of the planes, (they were flown remotely but would still need them), the personel that would have to kill the innocent passengers, and then there are the higher ups that planned it all. The biggest joke the film has is that they claim that the media knows the truth and is holding back, so that is even more people that know! How do you keep them all quiet? And the media not reporting this? Hell CBS/Dan Rather alone would have had it on every newscast so that Bush would have lost the election. And why, having made such a great plan, did they not piant the planes to look like American and United airlines? This is a plan that had to be perfect or it would all fall apart, one hi resolution photo of a military jet would have been thier downfall. And why not hit both towers, if not at the same time, much closer together, or at night? that would have limited the video footage.

Well that's it for now, I think that I've pointed out enough flaws in their arguments, but sadly, I'm sure that it won't change the 'conspiracy theorists' minds and they'll just brush this off as me following blindly what I'm told like the rest of the sheep (baaah), but I think they are truely the real sheep following the conspiracy sheppards
